Developing Language Skills to Support Literacy Instruction Presenter: Carla Stanford Oral language skills are an essential building block for literacy success. This session focuses on intentional, explicit, and practical teaching strategies that afford students opportunities to leverage and enhance their oral language skills. In addition, rituals and routines that develop Executive Function skills will be woven into the presentation. These strategies will make great additions to your literacy toolbox and just in time for the upcoming school year.
